Do you accept custom orders?

Unfortunately, we do not accept custom orders at this time. If you have an idea you'd like us to consider for a future papel picado or product, please send it to us via email at contact@memaandmija.com. We love to hear your ideas!

What are shipping policies?

We offer shipping to US, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Spain. Please make sure the shipping address is correct, if a package is sent back for an incorrect address customers will be responsible for the re-shipping cost. Once your package is handed to the delivery carrier, it is out of our control if lost. If lost, please contact the carrier for further assistance. Please be aware there may be additional customs fees for international shipping.

What's the difference between shipping with tracking and shipping with no tracking?

Please note that if you select "Uninsured Economy" shipping, tracking is not included and it is not covered by insurance. This means you will not be able to track your shipment's progress. You can upgrade to an insured package by either selecting "Standard Shipping-With Tracking" or by purchasing enough to qualify for free shipping (as free shipping includes tracking and insurance).

What if I need to cancel or make an adjustment to my order, like updating the shipping address?

Please let us know right away by emailing us at contact@memaandmija.com. Unfortunately, we are unable to make any changes once the order is shipped.

What is the typical processing time for an order?

As each purchase is made-to-order, we aim to have orders out for shipping in 1-4 business days. This does not include the time the carrier takes to deliver. We are not responsible for any shipping delays caused by the carrier.

Do you accept returns/exchanges?

Due to the made-to-order, handmade nature of our products we do not accept returns or exchanges.

What if I've received a damaged item?

If you've received a damaged product, please email us at contact@memaandmija.com with a photo of your item. We do our very best to uphold our high production and quality assurance standards, but we also know mistakes can happen. We will review each claim on a case-by-case basis and determine how we can resolve the problem together. We accept claims within 14 days of delivery.
